Glued up top and bottom of right wing with first coat of glue. Covered right aileronand and ironed. Installed right possition light on wing and wired for test. Tested color and strob, worked AOK. Measured fabric for bottom of right wing. The issue of wether to glue and rivit fabric to bottom ribs is still up in the air. Will be covering the bottom of the right and left wings on Thur and Fri this week. The supper structure of these wings is a work of art. What a beautiful design. They look so strong I bet you could do aerobatics. ( Not going to try though). The Light was set back from wingtip about 3 inches rear of the leading edge.
Bubbles are difficult to avoid on top and bottom of alu wing tips. The front edge of the wing looks great see (Fig 1) how the leading edge just smooths the fabric out right over the top of the wing ribs. final shrinking will be done tomorrow. The left wing is all but complete. Need to install the light and then cover.
