Brief Description: Performed All Work On Wing Access Panels
Today I peeled the blue vinyl plastic from the 6 access plates. I then scotchbrited the edges on all 6 plates. Drilled the 4 "spar mount" holes with a #28 drill bit and the 8 "wing skin" holes with a #19 drill bit---on all 6 plates. Deburred all holes front and back. Dimpled the 4 "spar mount" holes with a #6 dimple die and the 8 "wing skin" holes with a #8 dimple die to take the #6 and 8 platenut screws respectively. Access plates complete for now. Identified the initial parts needed for the next step which is assembling of the rear spar.
