Brief Description: More Prep On L & R Wing Spars & R Tank Skin
Started on removing the blue sticky vinyl, finishing edges, match drilling, deburring, and dimpling the right wing tank skin. I then drilled out and machine countersunk the platenut holes for the access plates on both the left and right wing spars. Cleaned up shop then used acetone to clean wing spar holed well. I then used q-tips dipped in zinc chromate primed and primed every hole drilled out/countersunk on both wing spars. Lots-o-holes and it took a while. Next will be to rivet all platenuts to spars.
