Brief Description: Work On Left Wing Spar & T-701L Skin
Today we worked on the left wing spar and the T-701 left wing fuel tank skin. We match-drilled the skin holes to the spar using the # 19 drill bit. Then we deburred all holes on skin and spar. Dimpled the trailing edge of the skin using the # 8 dimple die. Then we used the machine countersink drill tool to countersink the big holes (screw holes) using a sawed off screw as a template to ensure proper depth. Cleaned shop. Next we will finish countersinking the small holes (rivet holes) on the spar, prime all holes, and install platenuts.
