Well....after over a year of zero work on the RV-8, I finally got to doing a bit today!!
After looking at all of the lights, tools, and hardware to refresh my memory of where I left off a year ago....I started to cut the two holes in the laft and right wingtips for the Whelen LED landing lights. I traced out the shape on a paper template then traced it onto the wingtip. Then I used a dremmel tool to cut the holes out. They came out nice.
Next I will start to test mount the lights with the associated hardware.
