Went to local salvage yard, looking for suitable materials for aircraft construction. I was specifically looking for Stainless Steel sheet for Firewall Material. I found that and also some suitable "skin" material for foward fuselage. It so happened that I also found some .012" Stainless for heat deflection use around exhaust system. I had a great fine today, including some "Duck weights" for rib construction when I come to it. Lots of "goodies" at this mostly aviation materials salvage yard. I will be going back for some AN fittings.
