Brief Description: Design DC/DC (12V to 24V) Converter

Finished designing and started fabrication of enclosure for the 12V DC to 24V DC voltage converter. This enclosure will house 2 ea. 8 Amp gel style batteries, two 12 Volt 4PST relays, and terminal block with associated wiring. The purpose of the design is to have a self contained, including dedicated power source, batteries to convert 12 Volt source to 24 Volt linear actuator for Elevator trim . The case/enclosure is 6" W X 10" L X 5" H, and weighs 14 lbs. 5 Oz.. Because of not figuring final weight and balance yet; it is not definite where this will be mounted at this time. Most like to be approximately Fuselage Station________. The Actuator, of course, will be mounted beneath the leading edge of horizontal stabilizer, at Fuselage station_______. See the below image of the partially fabricated enclosure, relays, and batteries.
