Sam and I pulled #3 out of the jig and sanded it in the drum sander until was exactly 1" thick. It looks the best of all three diaphrapms I've made so far.. So, I think I'm getting it down. Next, we sanded to 1/6" thick the strips for #2.5 and then glued up the first three layers on the same jig I used for #3.
