"I positioned the lower aft wing skin and checked rib alignment. This was then clamped and then I drilled the rear spar holes nad then worked from centre down and out to the spar using the number 40 size drill. Once the skin was completely drilled I returned to the upper skin and drilled the rib lines to size 30 and then inserted copper clecos to hold the skin in preparation for the spar hole drilling secton onf the skin. I commenced drilling into the spar using thepilot holes. It will take some time to go through all these holes along the spar and cleco. I will then have to do the lower section of the spar.
I also unpacked the leading edge skin from storage ready for the positioning and drilling after the spar lines are done. Next week perhaps."
