"Today I finished all the gussets for the forward and aft ribs/ This involved marking and bending the flanges of the pre cut gussets.
I also marked and cut out the rib trimming requred for ribs 1 to 4 on both left and right wings. I then deburred all the edges of the ribs ad gussets.
I marked and cut out the web spacers on the flat sheet .032 aluminium that fit on the rib roots and the spar. I marked and cut the additional centre spacers form the .125 aluminium strip. I deburred all these spaces and checkd the lengths and trimmed on the sctotchbrite wheel.
I made a list of the next steps required for me to do after some days away from the project. I need to buy more primer still and then can start priming all the ribs, gussets, spacers. Once this is done then wing assembly can begin. All parts are now ready for this to be able to happen. there is alot of priming required but this can be done prior to upsizing holes and will make the process quicker and save the need for multiple clecloing and reclecoing.
Today alot of small but necessary time consuming jobs to allow wing assembly."
