"I arranged to have the kit picked up by truck at HK International cargo terminal. The man arrived in due time and loaded with the help of a forklift rather creatively. We secured the kit in the truck with the spar cap tube and drove the 25 minutes to my house in Mui Wo.
I had my good friends Simon Sweetman (Sonerai scratch builder and fellow Cathay pilot) and also Gene Norman also a Cathay pilot help with the unloading. The kit arrived undamaged fro the USA and to my house. We unscrewed the crate and could see the meticulous packing and organisation that has gone into sending this Waiex kit. Well Done Sonex, very impressive and they have lived up to my expectations and reinforced my understanding of other builders impressions of this company.
As we unpacked the crate it was evident that some creative space saving will be necessary to store all the items in an appropriate place around my house and workshop/shed. We put the bulk of the kit into the shed for the time being and will work on other spaces in due course. As you can see the shed is full of boxes and will need lots of organinsing.
