Brief Description: Spar drilling and pitot preparation.
Today I finished the spar drilling through the skins top and bottom. I then dilled the tied down hole.
I decided to re arrange the shed to make some more space and hopefully more efficient. I relocated the shet metal pieces to behind the work bench and it fit under the table overhang. This gives me an extra foot of room behind where I work in the shed and will make things more efficient. This also allows me to open my double doors for the first time which gives me more ventilation and more light which is most welcome. I swept the floor and did and general tidy up. I brought the leading edge right skin down from the 3rd floor in preparation for fitting.
I made out of some .032 material the 4 brackets for the pitot lines. I have to make the attach plate and brackets for the main tubes and attach the brackets to the ribs after painting. I will do this prior to fitting the leading edge skin.
