Continue with sliding seat assembly. Made a few mistakes in getting the internal tube length correct and had to remake it after attaching the seat back plate. On the first attempt I had the internal tube too short and after attaching the lower seat back plate it was under enough tension (it will bow when correct) that it made the seat tube loose.
