After delays at the factory and the dealer that were understandable and pretty much unavoidable, we took delivery of part of our Rans S20 ELSA kit at Rocky Mountain Kitplanes on June 8, 2020. We had purchased an enclosed trailer for transporting the kit from Utah to Alaska and spent a good portion of the day loading up.
The back of the pickup was full to the top of the cap and the trailer contained the engine, fuselage , and all of the larger parts like sheet metal, carbon fiber and landing gear.
Due to Covid 19 and our need to drive home thru Canada we had also set up the trailer to camp in so this took a fair amount of room.
