These pictures show some of the filling that was done.
The first picture is on the left exterior of the fuselage/cockpit area, just below where the window/canopy will be. The red is the filler, and is helping to even out a ridge-line. The area just above the filler is inset just a bit so that the window/canopy lexan should fit flush against the exterior.
The second picture is also on the exterior of the fuselage, but farther back. This is just above where the wing strut (smaller hole) and landing gear (larger hole farther to the rear/right) passes through the fuselage. You can see some dots and lines in the filler. These are all filled depressions. Looks like resin starvation to me.
The third picture is the aft end of the fuselage showing more filling. This filling is after it has been mostly sanded off. This area is near where the muffler will attach at the flat area on the right side of the picture.
