It's a little hard to see in the pictures, but the two angle brackets for mounting the forward seat are not set the same. I removed the right one and the aluminum angle that it was mounted to and remounted it correctly. This required that I make a new aluminum angle piece. I needed to ensure that the new angle piece had the same hole locations where it mounts to the fuselage trough, so I first made a template using some scrap 1" x 1/8" aluminum, cut and shapped the new aluminum angle, and then used this template to drill new mounting holes. I then clecoed the aluminum angle to the fuselage, and used a spacer block in between the two angle brackets to hold the right bracket in correct position while I marked the aluminum angle. The aluminum angle was removed, drilled, checked and finally the angle bracket was riveted (pop rivet heads to towards the trough walls for a tight fit) and the aluminum angle was finally riveted to the fuselage. It all fit much better this time.
