Since I was going to make a composite replacement forward seat, I needed a form to determine the shape.
Picture #1 shows the seat form that I made from MDF and some thin pressboard type material for the actual seating surface. Once this was made I tried sitting in it and had a couple of other people sit in it that area very different sizes than I. I found that most of the seat was comfortable, but the lower back area should not have been scalloped back but rather should have come up more straight.
Picture #2 shows the other half of the form. It's a little hard to see in this picture, but I have trimmed the lower back area a bit so it will be somewhat straighter.
