I swaged the rudder cables that attach to the front rudder pedals. The sharp points on the thimbles were cut down so that they would lay flat against the nicopress sleeve. This is per Tony Bingelis book, "Sportplane Construction Techniques" and the "Control Cable Connections" section.
Once they were swagged and checked with the gauge, they were attached to the horns on the front rudder pedals. Note the large fender washer used to ensure that the cable can not slip off. More information on that is in the previous log entry.
The front rudder pedals are now ready to be installed in the fuselage pod.
