Brief Description: Falcon completes its' journey across the country.
The Falcon arrived at my home in California today safe and sound. It look a little bit for the truckers to unload it as they had a lot of household items surrounding it and some on top of it...even the parts clearly marked for top load only.
When I was talking with the moving company to arrange the shipment, they ended up charging me extra because of how long the D-tubes were. They said that each shipment had a separate section of the truck and mine would be taking up a longer-than-normal piece. Turns out they had the Falcon loaded on one side of the truck and lots and lots and lots of household stuff piled all around it. I guess that part of the problem was that they sub-let the moving job to someone else.
The whole moving/shipping part was a pain! But, thanks mostly to Mike's packing skills, everthing arrived in great shape. No damage. No lost pieces. It survived the trip!
