I e-mailed Mike Fithian (Falcon East, http://www.aerofalcon.com) to ask if he still had the Falcon XP kit for sale. He had it listed on e-bay at one time, on Barnstormers and on his own web site, Aero Falcon. Here is the listing text from his web site:
NEW '86 Falcon XP Kit for Sale
Just arrived: the last and one and only known UN-BUILT NEW XP KIT left in the world. Kit was stored in CA and later moved to AZ, now here in NY. Very good condition, no signs of age. Kit is complete - with original Rotax 503 DCSI, 2:58:1 B box, Warp drive Propeller, manual, Tedlar, all well preserved. Hegar wheels and hydraulic brakes. ( no BRS) .
He did. We exchanged some details. I made him an offer, which he accepted. So, I'm getting my airplane kit!!!! It's exciting and scary at the same time!
