Brief Description: Main Gear Forward Cable Attachment
The main landing gear is prevented from swinging backwards (especially during braking) by some cables that rach from the outside of the landing gear leg to an attachment point farther forward in the bottom of the fuselage. This shows a close-up of that attachment point.
I changed the cable design just a little to follow more standard airplane methods. Note the thimbles, bushings, and double swaged cables. I also had to replace the clevis bolt as the one provided in the kit was too short.
