I was concerned that the key in the axle would not be enought to prevent the axle from spinning during hard braking and was looking for an additional method to help with this.
The first thing I tried was to drill the head of the bolt so I could safety wire it to the landing gear string. I had one heck of a time getting the drills to go all of the way through without breaking. Eventually I gave up on that and came up with an alternative method. Instead, I ended up using a larger drill and drilling through the tube that the axle mounts in and all the way through the axle and out the other side of the tube. I then put a cotter pin through; hopefully that and the keyway will be sufficient. :)
