Brief Description:  Baffling & Oil Cooling Considerations

Had a discussion w/ William and Mark about which Oil Cooler to use given the fact that Dan used the stock cooler in his Cleanex. this configuration requires no mod to the baffle plate and installion of the stock baffle kit. where tilization of the Niagara 2002 Oil Cooler requires the Sandwich adapter, considerable baffling rework and blocking off of the stock oil cooler mounting cutout. Further, the installation of the sandwich adapter requires the removal of the stock bypass valve which was performed. In order for me to "revert back" to a stock oil cooler configuration the valve would need to be reinstalled so we pulled the gold oil system housing cover off to see what the bypass galley looked like to see if this was still a viable option. As it turns out Mark P cleaned out the galley making the reinstallation of the bypass not possible. This condition made the decision for me - I would have to utilize the Niagara oil cooler :-) Using the Roy provided gasket I reinstalled the Gold Oil System with sandwich adapter.
