Brief Description: Engine Disassembly - Case Halves Seperated
Now the moment of truth... To be able to peer inside the bowls of the engine!
I removed eight R/H side crack-case bolt nuts and the case came apart. I carefully removed the crank and cam. I then took everything to the self-service car wash and proceeded to power wash the big items (case halves, heads and rear cover) to remove the heavy stuff.
Finally I conducted the crank "ring test" (everything still attached to the crank) and it didn’t ring for 30 seconds like WW states. I didn’t use a 2lb hammer or hit it hard so that may be why it didn’t ring for that long???
