Brief Description:  Attached aileron to wing

This morning I got up and attached the brackets to the completed aileron. I had to scuff the brackets to allow them to be painted later. I also had to drill out the holes in the brackets to final size (deburred too). Next I attached the aileron to the left wing. I'm just doing a trial fit now and will not tighten the nuts & bolts (I just want to see what it looks like!!). I then attached the bellcrank and push pull rods. The stop on the hinge can now be set so it stops the bracket (and aileron) at the proper angle. I determined the angle, then drilled the second hole for the stop. I will squeeze these rivets later. Everything looks good and I like the progress I have made this week. I've got a busy week coming up, so I don't how much more I get done. I'm almost at the end of the wings and will have to get started on the fuselage soon (as soon as I order it! ). Till then, I need to produce some income to pay for all this........
