Brief Description:  Rivet skins and misc. deburring and dimpling

This morning Wendy came out into the shop and I gave her a quick lesson on bucking rivets. We proceeded to rivet the inboard top skin on the left wing. Wendy did an exellent job! We changed the technique a bit on the top edge of the rivets along the main spar to get a better fit. I did not like some of the edge areas on the right wing, so I will drill some of those rivets out and use the method Wendy and I used on the left wing. After 2.5 hours, we were done with the inboard skin and Wendy had to get ready for work. I continued working on the flap brackets for the right wing. I took a dinner break and came back to work on deburring and dimpling all of the parts I have match drilled for the flaps and ailerons, thus far. I got the following parts ready for priming: The flap brackets, aileron brackets, aileron skins and gap fairings. I next need to deburr and dimple the holes in the wing frame and skin where the gap fairings and brackets connect. I also still have to rivet the out-board top left wing skins. Wendy said I can have her for a couple more hours on Saturday.......
