Brief Description: Fitting skins and match drilling
I plan to only work a half day today, because I'm going to the Tigers Game today. This is game 4 in the American League Championship. Tigers are up 3-0. This game could send the Tigers to the World Series!! Should be fun. I continued to cleco on the top skins. I did find a mistake on the right wing. I riveted one of the ribs to the wrong spot on the rear spar. There are three holes right next to three more holes. I riveted the wrong holes. Easily fixed......drilled out the 3 rivets and riveted the proper 3 holes. After I got all 4 skins on the 2 wings, I began to match drill all the holes....there are alot of holes. The wing walk doubler has no pre-punched holes, so those also had to be drilled out. I drilled out every hole in the top skins before I called it a day. Tomorrow I will work on the spanwise stringers.
