Brief Description:  Wings Inventory & Begin to work on spars

Our evening did not quite turn out like I planned. About 2:00 I became chilled and achey and had to go home. I thought I had a bit of food poisoning or maybe a bug, but by the time I got home, I felt horrible. I crawled into bed and slept for a couple of hours and Wendy came home from her shop to nurse me back to health. I don't know what it was, but I was hot one minute and cold the next. My joint and body ached so bad, I had a hard time sleeping last night. This morning I woke up and I felt 100 percent better. Even though it is my day off, I met with my brother (at breakfast) to go over the schedule for next week. After that, I decided I felt good enough to tackle the wing crates. I spent the next 6 hours doing inventory and labeling the drawers for the small parts. One thing that really helps when you do a project like this is to make sure your parts are very organized and you are able to instantly find the part you need. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to find a part that you KNOW you have. I was also suprised at how wide the wings spars are. I finished the day off by marking the spars (left, right, top, bottom, etc.) and then clamping the left spar to the bench so I could begin countersinking the flanges for the Fuel tank platenuts. I drilled about 10 before I decided it was time for dinner and a break. I hope to get the spars in the wing stands by the end of the weekend. Got Wings?.................I do now!
