Brief Description:  Left Step, Baggage Bulkhead

Over the last couple of days I've been in the shop for a total of 6 hours. I haven't had a real good block of time to work....I did manage to get the left step done. I also worked on the baggage bulkheads. I ended up trimming the top piece, but it is not correct. I thought the side with the slight bend was at the top, but it is at the bottom. I still used the part and I ended up putting a slight bend on the "NEW" bottom. It looks good and I don't think it will be a problem. I needed to drill the holes for the plate nuts and drill them in assembly. There is alot of platenuts holding this cover on. I riveted them all on and use the brass screws to temp. hold the cove in place. I've seen other builder use stainless steel button screws with an allen wrench head instead of the ones supplied by Van's (Phillips head). I will definatly pick some of these up and use them instead. I also got a shippment in today from Avery. The pitot/static kit and the rudder fairings are now here. I also ordered an internal rudder stop and got it in the mail today. Next item is the seat bottoms and hinges......
