Looking over the welds on my aileron and flap supports, there are some that I was not satisfied with. I ended up grinding them out and prepared to reweld them. I also checked my jig for welding the supports. It was out of square by about a 10th of an inch. I believe the 1" angle is too small. It deforms too easily. I rebuilt the jig with 2" angle and added a cross peice so the jig could not deform. I placed two squares together and clamped them at 31.6" and then positioned the uprights with the squares clamped them and welded them. They are square.
