Brief Description:  Panel Tidy-Up / Fuselage Wiring

Wow. Time flies when you have distractions. That's right; I haven't touched the plane in two weeks. We went to KS for the OU/KSU game (we lost), and stayed a day longer than planned. Then, when we arrived home, we found out a very close family friend died (he was 90) in - yup - Kansas. I was beat from driving, so took a day off. Then, #2 son the ExpressJet pilot had an overnight in OKC, and his company blazer had arrived after he departed to ORD. So I drove it up to OKC for him. Then, our EAA Chapter hosted the B-17, so we volunteered all day for that. The next day was the annual Sonex gathering in Bryan, so that took another day. Then, we left for the airport to fly up to KC for the funeral. By the time we got home, I had some catch-up chores.

So, I finally get to work on the plane. I obtained some smaller-diameter vinyl tubing for the pitot-static ports on the Enigma. Fastened that to the display. I decided against adding voice warnings thru the comm for now, since others have been having poor voice quality issues. I reinstalled the panel and spent the rest of the time routing and re-routing wire harnesses. I feel I'm finally getting close to finishing-up the panel work. Before anything is riveted, I want to run the engine again (have to adjust the idle mixture anyway...) just to ensure that I don't have engine noise in the headset.
