Brief Description:  Wiring PTT / Freq Swtiches

Installed the previously-fab'd wire harnesses for the PTT and frequency swap buttons on the control sticks.

Installed wires (after tinning with solder). Soldered onto the tabs of the freq swap and PTT switches. The freq swap button has the fastener on the top side of the switch, so it could be soldered without being installed in the hole plugg I previously drilled. The PTT, though, has its nut on the underside, so I had to install the switch in the hole plug, then solder the leads to the switch.

Crimped insulated M/F disconnects to the leads. Note: I was going to use Molex connectors. Radio Shack had some 4-conductor units, but they were 4 pins in a straight line, not in a square shape that I would have wanted. Additionally, the pins were 'way to big for the 22ga wires I was using. Took them back and just went with the insulated disconnects.

I used two males on the PTT switch, and two females on the swap leads. This will prevent cross-wiring them when I install in the plane.
