Brief Description:  Panel Population

Long time working for little result.

Started to populate the panel in preparation for wiring. Installed Enigma, then discovered that I ddin't have a correct-sized allen wrench for the mounting cap screws. Ran down to O'Reilly's for the correct wrench. I used JB Weld on the nuts on the backside of the panel to hopefully allow me to remove the mounting screws and remove the Enigma without having to crawl under the panel and put a wrench on the nuts. This is of concern only every two years when the RAM backup battery must be replaced.

Installed the switches and lights. Evaluated COMM wiring harness to see if I can shorten it or if I should just coil up the excess under the panel (will do the latter - weird soldering on one end...).

When I first tried mounting the breakers, I became frustrated because there was no washer provided to protect the panel paint during torquing of the mounting nuts (in fact, I ruined the paint once doing this...). Could not find suitable substitutes at Lowe's, but found some 1/8" ID fender washers that were small enough for the outside diameter. Am in the process of up-drilling the 1/8" center holes to 7/16" for the breaker necks.
