Last night I had only glued-down the center surface of the glareshield cover. As it would still move around a bit, I gave it overnight to dry. Today it was much better secured.
Folded-up the left side piece; sprayed the fabric and the glareshield with 3M trim adhesive and smoothed into place. Repeated with the right side; first, however, I cut a slit for the OAT sensor that will be mounted in the side of the windscreen.
Worked at it quite a bit to get it smoothed out as best as could be done. Trimmed the excess material from the front and sides.
Next, I got out the windshield material that had previously been test-fitted. I experimented with the microstop countersinking tool on a scrap piece of Lexan; proceeded to countersink all holes in the windscreen. Installed into position in the fuselage, but have not installed any fasteners yet.
