Brief Description:  Finished SNX-F08

Located and mounted the front edge seat hinge. Pulled the seat sling tight, pilot drilled, and cleco'd. Updrilled, deburred. Riveted upper and front hinges.

Countersunk upper fuselage splice plates; had left this undone, held w/wingnut cleco's at the time of fuse mate since the fuse was upside down, and I really didn't want to mess up countersinking these visible fasteners. Used a microstop countersink to get a nice finish.

FOD cleanup. All these aluminum chips have me a bit apprehensive about them working their way into the controls and jamming them during flight. Spend some time cleaninug up.

Remounted the seat. lightly screwd the hat section for the elevator rod in place. Noted that it was almost impossible to insert the lower seat hinge pins because of interference from the hat section. Removed and trimmed a bit. Could use a bit more trimming, but don't want an obvious open slot to accumulate stuff later that could jam the elevator control rod.

Bent trim control lever - 3 bends - one for operator use, and the other 2 to provide an offset for mounting the trim cable.

Fabricated and installed the trim and flap quadrant. Had to measure and locate the fore/aft attach brackets, pilot drill, updrill, deburr, and rivet into place. Lots of time on the detail measurements and trying to clamp stuff into position. Had to drill some holes to 3/16" for the cable housing, but left the final hole in the attach bracket at 3?32, which will allow only the control cable to pass thru.

Positioned and drilled the flap detent assy to the fore/aft brackets. Again, lots of measurements to get it level. Picture makes it look slanted, but in relation to the upper longeron, it's dead-on.
