Mated the forward and aft fuselages together this evening. The side panels (being pre-drilled since they're a kit part) mated perfectly to the aft fuselage.
Then I shot the rest of the time messing with the upper & lower crossties at the front of the fwd fuse.
The upper side of the fuse (remember, the pics below show the fuselage inverted) is suppsed to be 32" wide, longeron to longeron. With the crosstie in place, it's 32 1/8". Looks like I'll have to trim the crosstie and the upper firewall mounting clips to match. I have an email in to Sonex Tech Support, so I'll hold off until I hear from them.
