Had local EAA Chapter meeting last night; had late night at work tonight, plus other stuff to get done; not much time for Sonex.
Nonetheless, the time spent was very rewarding. located and clamped into position the windshield strap that mounts to the upper firewall former - lots of fluting work had to be done previously to create spaces for the fuel filler box and the southco fasteners for the cowl. They turned out well and look like it will not be an issue to pilot drill them (except for them being stainless steel....).
