Brief Description: Right Aileron Prep for Riveting
Positioned aileron counterweight assembly and drilled pilot holes thru the skin. Positioned center and drive plate ribs, pilot drilled thru the skin as well.
Positioned aileron hinge and pilot drilled. Up-drilled to #30. Updrilled remaining skin holes.
Positioned tip rib. Didn't take as long as the left aileron, but results are just slightly lower quality than the left side. Fits well regarding no gaps, etc., but the upper inner corner had a bit too much of the skin filed away such that there's about 1/32" of the rib sticking out in that one corner.
Used a soldering iron to melt the plastic covering away from the rivet rows.
