Brief Description: Complete Refit of Aft Wing Attach Angles
Finished-up the aft attach angles. They were pre-drilled the other night; tonight was fitting the trim lever/flap control lever fittings on the aft angle; required marking and drilling holes, and riveting the parts back into position. Disassembled and re-countersunk some holes that were not done deeply enough the first time.
Polished-up the attach angles to remove some rough spots.
Charged the battery using my new Odyssey charger (nice!).
Buffed-up the alignment pins for the main spars and aft spars (5 total) using the drill press and emory cloth. Finished them up with the Scotchbrite pad. They "worked" OK during the first time I did wing-rigging, but they dragged a bit in the holes. They are steel, and had some pitting on them. Now they're nice and smooth.
