Riveted Leading Edge of Left wing. Not much to say; just the tedium of a few hundred rivets.
Messed up two of the flush rivets on the bottom of the wing around rib 10. Had to drill out, but they wanted to spin a bit. Took my time, and got close enough where a pair of small dykes were able to finish snipping the head.
Also had to grind down a few mandrels that broke off slightly above the surface of the rivet. A grinding stone in my Dremel tool made short work of that.
Wing Boxes, both left and right, plus spar work were started about 1 August upon my return from AirVenture. Took 6 months total, but we were gone a bit in the fall. Missed a full week around Thanksgiving, and the early part of the Christmas break also took some time away from the project.
