Received the new #12 rib today. Had previously cannabalized the old #12 when I messed up the aft root rib. Perfect timing on the arrival! Cleco'd into position to the main / aft spars and up-drilled to #30.
Finished deburring fwd & aft ribs #10-12.
Cleco'd onto main spar one at a time, starting with #1, since this is the left wing. The flanges of the ribs all face the outboard side of the wing. If I started with #12, I *could* do it, but would have reduced access for the rivet gun. Ribs 1-5 are the hardest because the main spar caps are much broader next to these ribs, so I had to resort to bending some rivets and using a small piece of tapered 1/8" stock to allow the rivet gun to be offset, yet still pull the rivet squarely. This was required on the top and bottom-most rivets. The middle rivets could just be pulled normally by slightly bending the rib out of the way. Only had to drill-out one bad rivet.
Deburred the aft spar. Did most of it at time of fabrication. Just had to do the rivet holes that were recently drilled. Also had to deburr the edge flanges since I had left the protective covering on up until now.
Cleco'd the aft spar to the ribs. Starting with the root rib, riveted the aft spar to the aft ribs.
