Removed right wing leading edge. Marked limits of rib / spar near rib 5 in preparation for locating the pitot/static tube. Holding off on making the brackets and all for it since I ordered the Aircraft Spruce part recommended by Sonex - the A/C Spruce pictures, though show a pre-made flange on it, so want to see whether it's removable, allowing me to proceed with the Sonex design, or if I have to place this flange into the recommended plans.
Removed upper aft skin as well; had to drill pilot holes, and up-drilled the aileron bellcrank support brackets to the lower skin. Did the upper skin brackets when I first fitted the skin.
Also drilled the pilot hole for the right wing tie-down bracket. Still have to up-drill it, since it's not supposed to ride on the skin - goes thru the skin directly onto the bracket.
