Missed a few days over the weekend - was working with our local EAA Chapter hosting the EAA B-17, Aluminum Overcast. Great weather, good turnout, and good friends. Unfortunately, no progress on the Sonex!
Tonight, I up-drilled the upper main spar cap / skins to #30 to free up some 3/32" cleco's. Also noticed that I had not pilot drilled the lower forward skin at the root rib, so handled that as well. Spar caps thick metal; slow drilling.
