The last time I worked on the ribs, I had 6 of the 8 trimmed ribs deburred for the holes & gussets.
Tonight, I finished the prep on the last 2 ribs. Also removed all Sharpie ink (just cuz), then finished deburring all 8 trimmed ribs with the scotchbrite pad. Had to sand several of the lightening holes in the ribs because of sharp burrs left over from the forming process.
This is simple, but tedious work. Amazing how the time flies and how long it takes to debur each one to the way I like it.
Next step: Rivet the gussets.
Still have another 16 ribs to deburr - those that do not require flange trimming or addition of gussets. Will do these during the addition of the ribs to the spar.
