Brief Description:  Elevator & Horizontal Stab Detail Parts

SNX-T14
Spent an hour or so continuing to mess with the vertical stab fiberglass tip. Shaved some off the bottom of one side; helped, but now wants to look lopsided from the front of the stab. Can get either the front or back looking good, but not both at the same time.

SNX-T07
Cut 20 deg angle in left elevator skin; will hold off on replacing right until I try to fit elevator onto horizontal stabilizer; given the ultimate rib alignment into the skin, a new one may not be required.

SNX-T06
Fabricated SNX-T06-05 forward root rib clip. Fabricated SNX-T06-06 clip. Formed, bent and drilled pilot holes for both. Started work on SNX-T06-02 elevator root assembly, which builds on the elevator horn. This will be tricky; will have to get 90 deg drill, 12" pilot drill bits, and hand riveter because of tightness of elevator horn. Could only drill/cleco lower 6 holes on each side for the horn/rib assembly. Drilled / cleco'd SNX-T07-07 cable attach plate to left rib/horn leg. Getting the horn/rib alignment is supposed to be critical; spent a lot of time eyeballing because the ribs are not a sharp 90 deg angle, and because the flanges are not sharply bent. A straightedge would not line up, therefore consistent eyeballing was required. The left and right sides are consistent, which is most critical. Cut SNX-T06-04 hinge halves (2), but pilot holes are not required at this point.

SNX-T04
Cut channel stock to length for each of SNX-T04-01 (2), SNX-T04-02 (2), SNX-T04-03 (2), and SNX-T04-04 (2). Left and right copies of each were required.

SNX-T03
Cut channel stock to length for each of the forward and main horizontal stabilizer spars. These were SNX-T03-06 (fwd) and SNX-T03-04 (main).
