Brief Description: Initial Checkout of Fence Baffles
As I was playing around with installing the intake manifold, I realized that I'd have to remove it all to install the fence baffles at some point, so I decided now was as good a time as any to check it out.
Dug out the box of the laser-cut baffles to find out what was what. The aft fence is to be bent 10 degrees aft on the right side, and 10 degrees forward on the left side due to the AeroVee cylinder heads being offset from each other. Although confusing at first glance, the baffles seem pretty straight forward.
I marked the bend lines on the aft fence, then removed my engine stand from the end of the bench and re-installed my Harbor Freight bending brake. Will bend tomorrow.
At this time, I only need to locate the aft fence and cut 1.5" holes for the intake manifold to pass thru. Everything else can be done at a later time after initial engine hookup is complete.
