Marked the drop-dead line where the cowl should overlap the fuselage aluminum and made several cuts, files, sanding, etc., to get the fit just right. Had to adjust not only the rear esge of the cowl but also the air intakes and air filter box area as I needed more clarance around the prop flange. The pictures below just reflect the rough cuts. Obviously jaggy. Theyse have been sanded smooth. Next up witll be drilling thru the cowl into the fuselage aluminium to locate the nutplate holes for final mounting to the fuselage.
