I had previously cut the strut to length. Today I marked and drilled the initial pilot holes for the strut-to-fitting attachment at the top of the strut. As a reminder, the lower fitting was bolted into position last week.
Drilled the pilot holes, then marked a red line on the fitting itself to show thru the pilot holes indicating everything is lined up. Clamped it together then slit the strut into position.
