I had removed the vertical fin to gain access room for the elevator cable attach area. I had previously secured the trim motor wiring to the fuselage with RTV adhesive.
Today I reversed the nut holding the lower cable attach to the control horn. This placed the head of the bolt facing the trim motor wires, increasing the space between the bolt and the wires. I was concerned with the bolt in its original location that the cotter pin might catch on the wires if they popped out or moved closer to the bolt. Lots more room now.
Installed the AN3-5 bolts holding the vertical fin to the fuselage and torqued to spec. Need a compressor to install the rivets for the rest of the install.
