Brief Description: 3rd redeisgn of stick grip wiring
Since Ray Allen Co wants the builder to use relays if they're going to control the trim from two locations, I took that as a challenge a few months ago. I also learned a bit more on the switch workings. I had developed a plan to have the trim separate from the comm buttons on the grip, except for the ground connection. Ground is ground, right?
As a result o fme checking for ground loops lesterday, I realized that I'm connecting trim motor grounds to the comm grounds for the PTT, along with memory select and acive/stdy swap.
So I again opened-up the grip switch and disconnected switches 1 & 3 in the attached picture to a dedicated ground call fuselage ground, and left the other grounds only for comm use.
Hopefully it will all wrok. Used my meter to ensure switches all worked as expected, so we'll see....
